Founded by Taiwanese goldsmith and artist Yizon Chen, the studio grew out of Yizon Jewellery, a demi-fine brand established in 2018. Known for its handcrafted pieces made from silver, gold-plated brass, solid gold, and gemstones, Yizon Jewellery reflects a deep reverence for organic forms and fleeting moments captured in precious metal.

Every piece is handmade in small batches in Chen’s Amsterdam studio, where he also creates bespoke designs tailored to individual stories and styles. In 2021, the evolution of the brand took a more collaborative turn with the opening of Yizon Studio—a dedicated space where creativity is shared and craftsmanship is passed on through hands-on workshops.
These sessions offer a full introduction to the jewellery-making process, from sketching and designing to cutting, soldering, stamping, shaping, and polishing. Guided step by step by Yizon himself, participants use fine materials to craft their own silver or gold piece. No prior experience is needed, and each guest leaves not only with a finished, professionally-made item but also with photographs documenting their creative journey.
