The initial concept for the design was to provide an open community space for the whole faculty. Tolet people freely enter and view the building, a structure of randomly placed arches creates the sensation as if the sloping floor and the front garden's scenery were continuing within the building.
The ground floor serves as a multifunctional area, featuring a gallery space for exhibitions, a café, and lounge areas equipped with multimedia stations. This level is designed to encourage interaction and serves as a communal space for students and faculty across all disciplines. The open-plan design, complemented by strategically placed furniture and lighting, creates an atmosphere conducive to both casual encounters and focused study sessions. The wide open gallery on the ground level serve as a passage for people crossing the campus, even without the intention of going to the library.

The perimeter is lined with desks, each accompanied by low-level lamps, providing well-lit study spaces with views of the picturesque landscape.
